hey everyone. well, 2008 is in full swing, and i have to tell you… life can be crazy! chris, tyler and i have all been quite busy the past month or 2 and we're happy to finally be getting a bit more time with families, etc. did i mention that we have 3 of the cutest daughters anyone has seen? i guess that could just be a group of proud dads talking…
we have been trying to make a few shows happen, but nothing has fallen in place very well. it looks like 2009 might be busy, which is promising, but don't rule '08 out yet. just stay tuned! in the meantime, if you'd like all of us (or even some of us) to come play, be sure to contact us at booking@thepoolboys.com.

Hey everyone! Just wanted to wish everyone a happy holiday. We hope this Christmas finds you well and pondering the true blessing of December 25…that being God incarnate in Jesus. We're all doing quite well and staying really busy. Our kids are growing fast and keeping us on our toes to say the least. Keep checking back for dates we'll be playing. We hope to be out there a little this winter and spring. See you somewhere soon!

that's right…we're out there and we're lovin' it! the first show is for all you KANSAS CITY folks. here are the details:

and the second is in TEXAS! details are still to come, but we'll be there friday-sunday, november 9-11.
we can't wait to see a bunch of old friends…especially at the KANSAS CITY show. we hope you'll make it out!

it would seem you all like the site by the comments you've made, but we'd love to hear more from you. for all of you KANSAS CITY folks, we'll be in overland park in the next couple months. as soon as we have the date nailed down, we'll put it up. and for those south of the mason-dixon, we're going to TEXAS. that one's in november. we'll have dates here and on our MYSPACE later.
so, see? i told you we were still getting out there! it's just that now you have to put forth a little more effort to see us. i'm sure the drive will be well worth it though.

As we alluded to before, it was time for a new website. We are excited to have something that will last us for quite a while now, as well as something that still keeps you in great touch with us. Those of you who have become our friends on MYSPACE have been great! Thanks for all the comments and stuff. It’s fun to look through and see some familiar faces! We’re playing a little here and there, just like we said we would be. We head to Oklahoma and Pennsylvania in the next few months. Those shows promise to be great. And as always, we’re looking at dates to head back to Lawrence, KS for Open Swim. The last time we played OS, I cut the junk out of my hand, got stitches and still lead worship with the guys!
